PDF Accessibility Checker is a free browser-local pre-check for document authors and accessibility reviewers. It processes one PDF, up to 20 MB, on-device and surfaces common machine-verifiable signals: document title, primary language metadata, tags and structure signals, likely image-only pages, links, and form fields. The PDF, filename, extracted text, document hash, and local path are not uploaded to the service. The result is not a WCAG, PDF/UA, Section 508, or legal compliance certification. Reading order, alternative-text quality, complex table relationships, color contrast, and real assistive-technology behavior still require manual review. Scanned or image-only PDFs may require OCR first; this tool does not perform OCR or automatic remediation. It is designed to help teams find obvious technical issues earlier and decide what to inspect next in professional PDF and assistive-technology workflows.
